Since the 1970s, my work in community groups and in adult education has been underpinned by Paulo Freire's concept of praxis framed within a politics of hope. Praxis is practical action informed by theoretical knowledge, and it's also about developing theoretical knowledge through critical reflection on practice.
March 2022: I've just started to re-work these pages to include a broader range of theory and practice describing current activities and reflections on earlier work. Watch this space!
